Gannett Co. announced Monday it has joined with Tribune Co. to publish and syndicate USA Today on a weekly basis outside the United States.
Gannett, the publisher of USA Today, the highest-selling U.S. daily, will publish an eight-page broadsheet called USA Today Abroad, which will cover most of the feature stories from the daily version in the previous week.

According to Gannett, the first issue will be delivered Thursday to publishers in Israel, Armenia, Mexico, Argentina and Ecuador.
