Washingtonpost.com Thursday announced the launch of a new application on Facebook, Washingtonpost.com News Tracker, which allows users to create personalised news feeds, keeping users updated with the topics important to them.

The application compiles news from The Washington Post and 400 other news sources all over the world.

Users can customize news feeds in two ways: The application offers a list of popular feeds to subscribe to, or users can create their own search terms to receive personalised news feeds. Users can also add or delete feeds and can share their favourite stories with friends, Cyber Journalist reported.
