The New York Daily News is the latest newspaper to participate in the Yahoo partnership.
With Yahoo's Web technologies, the paper is able to enhance its targeting display advertising, content distribution, and its job board, HotJobs.
"The Daily News is excited to be the latest and largest newspaper to join the newspaper consortium," said Marc Kramer, CEO of the Daily News, in a statement. "Our partnership with Yahoo will allow us to provide additional opportunities to our advertisers, to job seekers, and to all of our users."
Now there are 21 newspaper companies, representing about 400 daily newspapers, involved in the partnership, Editor & Publisher reports.
"By adding the most widely circulated newspaper in New York to our extensive list of newspaper partners, we are expanding our reach and relevance in the nation's largest metropolitan market," according to Lem Lloyd, vice president of the newspaper consortium at Yahoo, in a statement.
