DAG devotes edition to children's rights day

Tuesday's edition of the Dutch free daily DAG was entirely devoted to the International Day for Children's Rights, Newspaper Innovation reported Wednesday.

A group of six children chose content for the paper, selecting a story about Sinterklaas (the Dutch Santa Claus) as the newspaper's top story, and also commented on the day's news.

The edition can be viewed in the archives on DAG's Web site.

The free daily has also pledged 25 percent of that day's special advertising revenues to the Dutch branch of Unicef, according to Newspaper Innovation.
