In a worldwide deal with Nokia, international news network France 24 will launch an on-demand mobile service to be available in French, Arabic and English.
Backed by the top commercial broadcasters in France, the news network will offer the new service on Nokia's new range of mobile phones.
France 24 has also launched a user-generated content Web site that allows users to post text, photos or videos, Brand Republic reported. The site, observers.france24.com, is aimed at broadening France 24's news coverage worldwide.
The news network is also looking to strengthen its presence in the Middle East, and will broadcast 24 hours of programmes in Arabic as part of its first anniversary celebration, according to Brand Republic.
