USA Today to launch lifestyle magazine

USA Today to launch lifestyle magazine

USA Today will launch an active lifestyle magazine, which will be included in Friday editions of the newspaper four times each year, Dow Jones reported Monday.

The first issue of the magazine, called Open Air, will be in papers March 7.

The Gannett Co.-owned national newspaper also announced who would take on the new magazine's leadership roles: Jack Curry, executive editor of USA Weekend Magazine, will be interim editor; Marcia Bullard, president of USA Weekend Magazine, will oversee the magazine; and Lorraine Ross, vice president of advertising sales and business development for USAToday.com, will oversee advertising sales, according to Dow Jones.
