Global mobile video ad revenue to exceed US $2 billion by 2011

Global mobile video ad revenue is projected to boost over the next four years, exceeding US $2 billion by 2011, according to the research firm MultiMedia Intelligence.

In 2007, worldwide mobile video advertising revenue only accounted for less than US $150 million. However, it will grow rapidly to more than US $500 million in 2009, and even skyrocket in the next two years to over US $2 billion by 2011.

Most of the revenue came from Asia in the year of 2007. However, America and Europe both have great growing potential.

In 2011, revenues from America and Europe will both exceed US$ 500 billion, although Asia will still receive the lion's share, according to Multimedia Intelligence.
