U.S. media company Media General, Inc. will announce its fourth-quarter and full-year 2007 results Jan. 31, before the market opens that day.

Media General will make the full text of the release and financials available on the company's Web site, www.mediageneral.com.

The multimedia company operates newspapers, TV stations and Web sites primarily in the Southeastern region of the United States. Flagship newspapers include The Tampa Tribune, Winston-Salem Journal and Richmond Times-Dispatch. Media General also operates 22 daily community newspapers in Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama and South Carolina, and more than 150 weekly newspapers and other publications.

The Richmond, Va.-based company will hold a conference call with financial analysts at 2:30 p.m. EST. Listeners may dial 001 800-329-9097 about 10 minutes before the call is set to begin.
