TMG appoints Adam & Eve for £8 million account

Telegraph Media Group has appointed start-up agency Adam & Eve and its pitch partner AMP to handle its £8 million advertising and direct marketing accounts, respectively, Brand Republic reported Friday.

Adam & Even won the pitch in a final round against Rapier, TBWA\London and Tequila and Archibald Ingall Stretton, and will deliver a “wide range of creative and marketing solutions, particularly in the digital arena,” the Guardian reported.

CHI & Partners, which formerly held the account, resigned in October to work on the £15 million Times Media business, according to Brand Republic.

TMG currently spends £4 million on advertising on The Daily Telegraph and nearly £1 million on The Sunday Telegraph, Brand Republic reported.

Adam & Eve was a start-up, launched in January by senior executives from WPP-owned RKCR, according to the Guardian.
