Singapore readers positive about redesigned Sunday Times

Singapore's redesigned Sunday Times hit newsstands Sunday, with a majority of readers giving the paper's new look positive reviews, the Straits Times reported Monday.

The newly revamped paper has more hard news, in-depth features and columns, as well as expanded Invest and Sport sections.

Fifty-two out of 60 readers said they liked the paper's new look, calling it “snazzy,” “stylish” and “modern,” the Straits Times article, posted by Asia Media, reported.

“Everything is a lot more eye-catching. The articles are also shorter, making it reader-friendly,” a reader told the Straits Times.

Readers also said the content appeared to be stronger, with one reader saying that the bulked up content is “a good example of how newsworthy stories can provide entertainment.”
