Design group Research Studios unveiled its redesign of new Polish national newspaper Polska, Brand Republic reported Wednesday.
Research Studios previously redesigned The Times and Guardian Unlimited, and has spent a year working on Polska.
Published by Polskapress, the compact format Polska will be published in colour, and feature themed supplement each day. It will also have six regional daily versions, Monday through Saturday, according to Brand Republic.
The redesign was created with help from The Times, and its front page includes UK paper's logo as part of its masthead. Polska will also run selected Times editorial content.
“The key to success of the newspaper will not be as a nationwide daily but in its basic philosophy of being a totally local newspaper that has the look and feel of a national title,” said Matt Brown, Polska's design director, according to Brand Republic.
