The most widely circulated newspaper in Afghanistan has launched its own Web site, the International Center for Journalists reported Friday.
Kabul Weekly covers news, economic, social and features, as well as sport, cinema, cartoons and readers' letters.
The newspaper was launched in 1991 and shut down in 1994, but re-opened in 2001 after the fall of the Taliban, according to the ICFJ.
It is published each Wednesday, in English, Pashto and Dari languages, and has a circulation of 10,000, ICFJ reported.
Although the Web site has spots for advertisements, so far it does not appear to have any.
