The Sun-Times Media Group may go private, and may sell one or more of its businesses, the company's chief executive told shareholders at an annual meeting Tuesday, The Canadian Press reported.
Cyrus Freidheim said the company has received several responses from possible buyers last month after discussing a potential sale.
Freidheim said he is committed to a “safe landing,” but did not say if or when a decision will be made on bids from potential buyers, or when the company might go private, The Canadian Press reported.
