Executives at Yahoo Inc. may overhaul several product groups into a centralised global-product organisation, making groups such as search and e-mail one, MarketWatch reported Friday.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the plan is being headed up by the company's president, Susan Decker.
The Journal's report stated that Decker aims to “improve communication between Yahoo's product teams and overseas-sales groups,” and further details may be announced by next week, MarketWatch reported.
Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Yahoo said in a statement that its “successful implementation of our core strategies and the timely rollout of key products this year testifies to the effectiveness of our team, and we continue to recruit outstanding talent,” according to MarketWatch.
