Indian company expects to see more offshoring from U.S.

Outsourcing company Mindworks Global Media, based outside New Delhi, expects to attract more business from North America and Europe as publishing companies in those places continue to look for new ways to cut costs, BusinessWeek reported.

Mindworks has been handling work from non-Indian publishers for four years, BusinessWeek reported last week.

Mindworks got its first U.S. client last year, and says it can help publishers keep their businesses going in tough economic times by cutting costs by up to 40 percent, Editors Weblog, partner site of the SFN Blog, reported Tuesday.

Clients at Mindworks include the Miami Herald and South China Morning Post, according to BusinessWeek.
