Marketwire has finalised its expanded Asia Pacific news distribution platform and media contact database, MarketWatch reported Tuesday.
The expanded news distribution services agency established regional headquarters in Shanghai, an office in Hong Kong and media research labs in Beijing and Manila.
The expansion began in February with the buy-out of International Media Services Companies, MarketWatch reported.
“Our goal is to leverage our local resources and presence throughout Asia to provide the most effective tools for managing cultural differences, language challenges and complex media environments for our clients in the region,” Hector Botero, vice president of emerging markets at Marketwire told MarketWatch.
Marketwire is based in North America, and is a full-service partner to IR, PR and MarCom professionals for media management, press release distribution and multimedia and monitoring solutions.
