The launch of Economia e Financas, an Angolan state-owned economics weekly newspaper published by Ediçães Novembro-EP, may indicate that there is a growing interest in the Angolan economy, AllAfrica.com reported.
The paper, launched last Tuesday, will "help publicise locally and abroad the advances in agriculture, industry, expansion of the country's electric network and other achievements," according to Manuel Miguel de Carvalho "Wadijimbi,"deputy minister of Social Communication.
The first issue of Economia e Financas (to be published on August 29 with 20,000 copies) will be released as a special edition that will be given out for free to invitees, according to AllAfrica.com.
