The article suggested that it was the press that helped hire strong athletes with a lot of potential in order to compete at the Beijing Olympics this year.

It may be viable for Russian media to create a network of sports journalists who will have the support of local authorities and who will aid in providing exposure for talented athletes for future events, according to Gazeta.ru.
