Kyiv Post to launch new site

Ukraine's Kyiv Post will on Sunday launch its redesigned Web site, which will include archives, top online news and the entire content of the newspaper, the Kyiv Post announced on its Web site Thursday.

The newspaper, owned by KP Media, is the country's top English-language newspaper.

“We are making these investments to better serve our advertisers and our readers, both in Ukraine and abroad,” Jed Sunden, owner of KP Media, told the Kyiv Post. “We are committed to keeping the Kyiv Post and its online version the best in the news business.”

The new site will be updated throughout the day, and will also include a photo gallery, blogs and readers' forum, Yulia McGuffie, chief editor of KP Media online publications, told the Kyiv Post. Navigation will also be updated, to make the site more user-friendly.

The new site will also translate coverage from its sister publications into English, said Brian Bonner, chief editor of the Kyiv Post.

The print version is also planned to undergo a redesign later this month.
