Social network for U.S. intelligence agencies to launch

According to CNN, members of the CIA, FBI and National Security Agency are experimenting with A-Space, a social network specially formulated for use by analysts from 16 U.S. intelligence agencies, reported the European Journalism Centre (EJC) Monday.

The site would allow the members to communicate information on terrorist activities and global military events.

As being presumed, the information is classified and the general public would not have access to the social network. “Intelligence personnel with the proper security clearance and a reason to be examining particular information” would have permission to access the network.

A-Space has been tested for months, and is to officially launch on September 22, according to the EJC.
