Reading Web sites is more likely to lead people to read magazines, and is less likely to hurt magazine print readership, according to a new PPA survey, Media Week reported.
Magazines continue to be a top information source of 65 percent of readers surveyed, according to the study, commissioned by the PPA and done by subscription site magazinesbymail.net.
Of those surveyed, 7 percent said online information caused them to be less likely to read the print version of a magazine. However, 25 percent said reading articles on the Internet made them want to read a magazine to learn more, Media Week reported.
