Mobile Internet users and mobile search revenue in the United States are expected to grow throughout 2012, according to TKG Consulting, SFN's World Digital Media Trends 2008 reported.
U.S. mobile Web users totalled 37.9 million in 2007, and will grow at an annual rate of 19 percent. It will boost to 54.5 million by the end of 2008, and reach 91.7 million in 2012.
According to estimates from TKG, U.S. mobile search revenue was US$33.2 million in 2007. However, with a 112 percent CAGR from 2007 to 2012, it is expected to reach $1.42 billion by 2012, according to the World Digital Media Trends 2008 report, released by SFN and the World Association of Newspapers.
