New York Times expands distribution to Santa Fe location

The New York Times announced an agreement with The Santa Fe New Mexican on Thursday to begin printing the paper at the plant in Santa Fe, New Mexico, United States, the newspapers stated in a press release.

The agreement, beginning in early October, will allow The Times to expand its presence in Santa Fe, through weekday and Sunday newsstands and home delivery.

“This is the third print site expansion we've completed this year, following Dallas in January and Philadelphia in March,” Scott Heekin-Canedy, president and general manager of The New York Times, stated in the press release, posted by Forbes.com.

With the addition of the Santa Fe site, The New York Times is now printed at 25 locations throughout North America, Editor & Publisher reported.

The Santa Fe New Mexican's four-year-old German KBA press prints 16 additional commercial publications, according to the press release on Forbes.com.
