Active Internet users in Taiwan reached 10.14 million in Taiwan by the end of June – 44 people out of every 100, the Taipei Times reported Sunday.
According to a report by Foreseeing Innovative New Digiservices (FIND), broadband subscriptions reached 4.7 million in June, up 40,000 from the previous quarter. Mobile Internet subscriptions were also up by 920,000 from the previous quarter, to 13.38 million.
Mobile Internet subscriptions also make up the most commercial subscriptions, reaching 71 percent, according to the report, the Taipei Times reported in an article posted by Asia Media.
3G data service subscriptions are also growing, taking up 8.55 million of the 13.38 million mobile subscriptions, up 990,000 quarter-on-quarter, according to the report.
