China Post becomes Asia News Network member

The China Post has become the twentieth member of the Asia News Network, a group of national newspapers from across Asia, The Post reported Wednesday.

Taiwan's top English-language daily, The Post will “further strengthen our coverage of Northeast Asia,” said Pana Janviroj, executive director of ANN. According to the agreement, The Post will be a news source from Taiwan for other ANN members, and will also have access to news coverage from other member newspapers.

Obtaining ANN membership is done through invitation only. The group also accepts only one English-language newspaper per region or country, according to The Post.

“China Post readers now have unparalleled access to the latest news, analysis, and entertainment information from Asia's top journalists,” said Daniel Huang, deputy director of The Post.
