Sunday Herald sales slide 15.6%

The Sunday Herald's sales figures dropped 15.6 percent year-on-year in October, the latest Audit Bureau of Circulations figures for the independent Scottish newspaper show, AllMediaScotland reported Tuesday.

The paper's average sale in October, measured by Average Net Circulation, was 43,095. This is also down 527 from its average September sales, according to ABC figures.

Other Scotland newspapers also saw sales figures drop, according to AllMediaScotland. The Scotsman's year-on-year sales figures are down 9.2 percent, The Herald's are down 8.8 percent, and Scotland on Sunday's are down 7.9 percent.

However, the Daily Telegraph and The Guardian's sales are slightly up in Scotland, by 1.1 percent and 1.8 percent, respectively. However, The Times saw a 1.2 percent drop in Scotland, AllMediaScotland reported.
