The Sunday Times and The Times in Scotland, were the only two newspapers to have posted sales increases between Feb. 2008 and Feb. 2009, allmediascotland.com reported Tuesday.
According to Average Net Circulation in Scotland, as reported by the Audit Bureau of Circulations, sales for The Times increased by 1.99 percent and by 4.8 percent for the Sunday Times.
At the same time, sales for the Scottish Sun and for the Daily Record - Scottish dailies with the largest circulations - were down by 7.98 percent and 11.2 percent, respectively, according to allmediascotland.com.
All other Scottish newspapers registered decreased circulations.
