Quebecor Inc., owner of Osprey Media and Sun Media Corporation, which publish over 200 titles in Canada, is pulling its newspapers from the Canadian Press news co-operative, Reuters reported. The departure is part of the company's plan to cut costs and build on its own in-house news agency.

Quebecor, which is the largest newspaper publisher in Canada and Canadian Press' biggest media member group, will depart at the end of June 2010.
