Crain Communications cuts jobs, salaries

Business publisher Crain Communications has laid off 150 staff members and is implementing a 10 percent salary cut, paidContent reported Tuesday.

The cutbacks follow the company's shutdown of the publication Financial Week (along with its online counterpart FinancialWeek.com), Business Insurance Europe, and Automotive News Europe.

There have been no reports regarding whether the job cuts will affect the business or editorial department of the company.
