UK newspaper circulation has dropped 5 percent in the last 6 months, Dow Jones reported.

The largest drop in readership was seen with Independent News' circulation, which decreased by 15.44 percent. Circulation of the Independent's Sunday edition plummeted by 21 percent. The Financial Times, The Sun and The Daily Mirror also experienced declines. However, the Daily Star saw an increase of 2.15 percent, Media Guardian reported.
