The United States Communist Party has announced the closure of the print edition of its weekly newspaper, the People's Weekly World, Ballot Access News reported Monday. The newspaper's online publication will continue.

The move follows the majority of U.S. nationally organised political parties going to an online-only version of their national newsletters or newspapers. This leaves only the Libertarian Party, which prints the Libertarian Party News, and the Socialist Workers Party, with the weekly Militant, providing physical copies of their publications.
