Apple has announced an event on Sept. 9 in San Francisco, but questions remain as to what the announcement will be. Rumours are circulating as to whether Steve Jobs will unveil a new iPod, Apple Tablet or netbook, Mirror.co.uk reported.

Meanwhile, PC World reports that "unless Apple plans more than most observers expect, there is good reason for Steve to remain out-of-sight." The report also predicts Jobs is unlikely to make an appearance.

Apple has held an event in September for the past several years, all of which have focused on iPods or iTunes, according to a Wired article, which stated that "We believe the prediction of an Apple TV refresh is plausible, but we don't find that nearly as interesting as the possibility that Apple will add cameras to its iPod Nano, iPod Touch and possibly even the iPod Classic next week."
