Study: Metro's population growing with young Canadians

A new Newspaper Audience Databank study shows free daily, Metro is a growing favourite among young readers in Edmonton, Canada, young readers Metro News Calgary reported.
Metro's circulation in Edmonton was up by 24 percent in 2008 in the 18 years and older demographic, according to the NADbank study.

The Edmonton issue of Metro, which launched in 2007, is said to reach
14 percent of residents in a five day period, making it "the largest free daily in the
city," said Metro Alberta Publisher Steve Shrout.
