In the ACSI, which is conducted annually by the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business and is based on interviews with 70,000 customers, Facebook scored a 64 out of 100 while The New York Times received a 76 and USA Today a 77, PC Magazine revealed.

In the news sites category, Fox News is the leader, with a customer satisfaction of 82. It is followed by The New York Times and USA Today, and then by ABCNews.com (75), MSNBC.com (74) and CNN.com (73).

Fox News' score is the highest "any news site has ever received in nine years of measurement," the researchers stated in a press release. The ACSI attributes the good results to Fox's loyal consumers and the successful integration of its on-air talent into the news site, PC Magazine explained.

Nonetheless, all newspapers improved since last year, when USAToday.com got a 73 and NYTimes.com got a 72, according to MSNBC.com.
