News Corp. announced it is developing a network that will enable its many global titles to share content and resources to cut costs, Media Week reported. CEO Rupert Murdoch has chosen former executive vice president at Fox News, John Moody, to manage the project.
Moody said the venture comes at "a critical time in our industry" that requires innovation, such as the sharing network. Murdoch aims for the project to "share valuable news content and harness the power of News Corp.'s vast editorial resources."
