Denver Post to raise newsstand price

Starting next week, the Denver Post will charge more for the Monday through Sunday editions of the paper, The Associated Press reported.
The newsstand price of the paper will increase from 50 cents to 75 cents, with no alteration being made to subscription fees. The Post's senior vice president of circulation, Bill Reynolds, described the new price as a necessary decision given the cost of doing business and the current economic climate.
The US$1.50 newsstand price for the Post's Sunday edition will rest unchanged.
