Newspaper education trust shuts after 15 years

The UK's newspaper industry's education trust has announced its closure due to a failure to "attract funds" the East London Advertiser reported.
The trust organized programs for students up to high school age to design and create content for front pages of newspapers through workshops given at schools.

Anna Pangbourne, the trust's chief executive, said that the economic
climate made the organization "no longer viable to operate for the long
term future."
The trust counted 30,000 children among its participants throughout its 15 year career.
