CNN invests in local news aggregation site

CNN will invest in local
news aggregator Outside.in as part of a US$7 million series B funding
round, The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday. And beginning next
year, the Time Warner-owned news network will feature the start-up's
feeds on its Web site.
Dow Jones and the New York Post have also signed on, and will receive an ad-free version of the feeds. However, they can also get feeds for free if they include ads, paidContent reported yesterday.
