The AP is asking sites for more money, "but the aggregators have been arguing that with advertising down, news content is actually less valuable than it used to be," Ken Doctor, a media analyst with research firm Outsell told The New York Times.
Yahoo has said Ap articles are "an important part" of giving users complete, relevant news coverage, according to PC World.
