Finnish media group SanomaWSOY said in a statement it had sold its 30-percent holding in Russian publisher Smena to Baltic Media. Smena publishes a St Petersburg-based newspaper of the same name. The value of the deal was not disclosed. Sanoma Magazines arm Independent Media publishes Russian business paper Vedomosti and English-language papers Moscow Times and the St Petersburg Times.
