The Dutch free daily DAG will launch a narrowcast channel that will be viewable in 1,200 cafés across the Netherlands, Newspaper Innovation reported Wednesday.
DAG is owned by PCM publishers and the telecom company KPN.
Content on the screens will reach 750,000 people between ages 18 and 35 every week. Dutch Narrowcaster ON, owned by KPN and Heineken brewery, is partnering with DAG, and is already operating nine other channels in the Netherlands, according to Newspaper Innovation.
DAG recently increased its circulation to 415,000, and operates a mobile Internet platform that receives 140,000 page views a day, the paper has reported.
