Computers, the Internet and mobile phones are ranked higher among younger generations – they are the top three listed among those aged 16 to 25, on the top five for those 26 to 45 and are out of the top five among people aged 46 to 65.

Traditional media and devices, such as a landline phone, newspaper and magazines, are ranked higher by elder generations – people aged between 46 and 65 even choose a fixed phone as the first thing they cannot live without.

TV is the only medium on the top-four list across age groups, Kairos Future reported.
