Prisa's net profit slides in 2007

Promotodora de Informaciones SA (Prisa) saw net profit fall from 228.9 million euro to 191.9 million euro in the full year to December.
The profit drop was in line with analysts' estimates of 135 to 236 million euro for the Spanish media giant, Thomson Financial reported Thursday.
Prisa said in a statement that revenues were also in line with estimates for 3.618 to 3.836 billion euro, reporting revenues climbed to 3.696 billion euro from 2.811 billion euro, according to Thomson Financial.
The group's publishing arm reported revenues up 15.4 percent, to 536.4 million euro.
