The UK-based Eastbourne Gazette will launch its new youth newspaper, called The Jigaroo, next week, the paper reported Monday.
The youth publication will be available in the newspaper, and is being produced by an editorial team of students.
The Jigaroo's editorial staff is made up of students from local schools who have been working since January to create the paper and its main features, as well as editing, and designing the paper along with journalism professionals, reported the Eastbourne Herald/Gazette, owned by Johnston Press.
The youth publication will be full colour, and eight pages long. The publication is aimed to help students develop vocation skills, in addition to drawing young readers.
