Publishing house Condé Nast will launch Vogue.ru, a Russian version of the popular fashion magazine, in September, Gipp.ru reported.
For the first time, the publisher is presenting an online publication that is built on the same platform for a variety of markets. This means Internet users in different countries where Vogue has a site will be able to access the same information and Web features.
Features include things such as Magnifier, a virtual magnifying glass that allows visitors to zoom into an item of clothing or jewellery on the site.
The platform will also give Vogue.ru editors to access to all the content from other editions, which guarantees that they will have access to the latest fashion news, Gipp.ru reported.
The Russian-language site will also provide access to Vogue TV, an extensive video archive, and biographies of prominent figures in the global fashion scene as well as an archive of Vogue covers over the past 10 years.
Videos of fashion shows will be available, as well as those giving beauty advice. World-famous designers, models and other individuals from the fashion industry will write the Vogue.ru blogs, according to Gipp.ru.
Vogue.ru is aimed at a female audience ages 18 to 44 who have a relatively high socio-economic status.
