Russian financial daily adds new sections

Russian financial daily Vedomosti announced that it will be published in a larger format as of this week and would include 20 new sections, Gipp.ru reported Thursday.
The move is a response to the growing interest towards news and analysis regarding the global financial crisis. According to Vedomosti, subscriptions in the last two months have risen.
The sections to be added include those about finance, competition and management, as well as those about the overall economy.
Vedomosti Chief Editor Elizaveta Osetinskaya said the crisis is a period during which important information is “particularly demanded.” She added that readers currently need to have an objective perspective on events, Gipp.ru reported.
