New Yahoo! homepage customisable, incorporates social media

Yahoo! has launched a new home page which offers users the opportunity
to personalise the page by incorporating links to favourite sites such
as Facebook or Twitter, the Los Angeles Examiner reported.The new site includes a side bar, in which content can be manipulated by the user, who may chose which links to sites they wish to appear in the space.
The site has already been launched in the United States and will be functional in the United Kingdom, France and India later in the week.
