Thomson Reuters.jpgLeveraging its financial news and information expertise, Reuters has unveiled its new financial data presentation initiative aimed to help U.S. newspapers save time and resources, paidContent reported. The new product is called Reuters Financial Infographics.

Reuters Financial Infographics offers "print-ready" financial data layout and graphs that can be customised to newspaper requirements, according to Editor & Publisher. This new product is available as an addition to Reuters main news offerings at "an attractive price," and automated delivery, paidContent's article stated. However, price details weren't disclosed.

This new product is made available by Reuters in collaboration with Custom Flow Solutions, a development firm specialising in publishing automation, a press release posted on CNN Money stated.

"RFI was created as part of a larger strategy to address the challenges facing media owners today," Christoph Pleitgen, managing director of Reuters news agency for Thomson Reuters stated in its press release. "Our media customers told us they need more than content, they need workflow solutions. And the solution we are launching today is specifically tailored for the needs of US newspapers."

Additional information about the product will be provided by Reuters executives at the Society of American Business Editors and Writers' annual conference in Phoenix today, according to paidContent. Interested publications can get a free trial until 31 March.
