Le Monde to launch lifestyle magazine

France's daily newspaper Le Monde will launch a new supplementary lifestyle monthly magazine titled M on March 4 this year, Tarif Media reported Tuesday.

M will have 48 pages and will include content for men and women on subjects such as fashion and tourism.

The publication will allow readers to "discover beautiful things and beautiful people in the moral, intellectual and aesthetic sense," said Chief Editor Anne Line Roccati.

According to Tarif Media, Le Monde's paid distribution of 304,083 copies will be advantageous for M. The newspaper's total circulation in 2007 was 358,000.
