Posted by Simon Day on July 1, 2009 at 4:23 PM
Mobile marketing company 2ergo has launched a collaboration with Argentinean newspapers, La Capital of Rosario and Diario Uno of Mendoza, to provide the papers with a mobile publishing product, Telecompaper reported Tuesday.

The newspapers are owned and published by media group, Uno Medios. 2ergo will start Web sites for the newspapers that will allow the distribution and sale of content to mobile devices. Daily news feeds, videos, slideshows, editorial content, classifieds, local weather, sports, traffic, polls and blogs will automatically be provided to mobile subscribers.

Uno Medios and 2ergo are further collaborating on the development of BlackBerry and iPhone applications for easy access to newspaper content. Consumers will also be able to access content on any mobile phone with Web browsing capabilities.

The mobile content applications are available for download at the La Capital and Diario Uno websites, and can also be found in the Newspaper and Magazine sections of Claro Argentina's Ideas mobile portal.
